"Seli" is located about 60 km. southeast of Heraklion and 2 km .east of the settlement of Ano Viannos, right next to the Monument of Heroes in Amira Vianou.

Seli is an historical location with a tragic history in the village of Amira in the Municipality of Viannos, in the prefecture of Heraklion. The provincial memorial was built in 1966 in honour of the execution of 117 men in September 1943 by the German occupation troops.

If someone wants to board a bus from the KTEL of Heraklion to Seli, the itineraries are as follows: Monday to Saturdays 09:30 and 13:30. The KTEL bus stops right outside Seli, making the journey very easy.

The menu, which consists mainly of Cretan traditional dishes, made with passion and love for the pure products of the Cretan land, was designed to cover the needs of our customers to the max. The produce comes from small,local producers of Viannos, thus making their gastronomic a unique experience.
 

In addition, Cretan cuisine lessons are organised for the guests at Seli , and we help them to obtain local fresh products of the Cretan land (honey, herbs, sourdough, salt, etc.) from the local producers that we happily recommend.
